Albert Recasens continues tirelessly with his task of rescuing the Spanish musical repertoire and this time he does so by returning to a composer to whom he already dedicated an enlightening album a decade ago, Antonio Rodríguez de Hita, a musician from Madrid, a reference in musical theatre in the third third of the 18th century and master of the sacred repertoire. It is to this ground that La Grande Chapelle approaches with a program that delves into the perseverance of polychoral music in the Hispanic sphere. A set of pieces for eight voices, recently recovered, will serve to show it.
