They perform his Leçons de Ténèbres, a sublime work which summarises the Baroque spirituality of France under the Sun King. The vision of Aarón Zapico, director of the Ensemble, offers a fresh and revised perspective of this piece which comprises historic rigor of the score together with the beauty and musicality of Couperin’s work.
