In 2020, 250 anniversary of Beethoven’s birth will be commemorated. As one of the most symbolic composers of the history of music, many composers since XIX century have taken him as an example or have been inspired by his music.

This course aims to make out how this influence by Beethoven has been reflected in later music creation, mainly from XX and XXI centuries. Some of the most outstanding scholars on Beethoven will share their knowledge and opinions on this matter, from a variety of perspectives including systematic and sociological analytics, as well as creative experience
