The great  soprano Nuria Rial meets with the Asturian ensemble Forma Antiqva to explore in depth the emotions of the first baroque musical theatre, in a space where opera began to develop its universal power of excitement. With a structure following the operatic format (a prologue and five acts), the concert will have as its main protagonist Claudio Monteverdi, a genius who marked all his time and who will be present here with fragments of his three operas that have survived the passage of time and with the only remainder of another, L’Arianna, his famous lament. An authentic celebration of the triumph of music in the midst of tears, nymphs, shepherds, descents into hell, odysseys and power games, which will contextualize other great masters of the early Baroque, Frescobaldi, Merula, Strozzi, Marini…
