The course is aimed to teachers and music students from conservatories and universities interested in early childhood music education; teachers and students of childhood education, elementary school students, social education and pedagogy students, as well as to all those interested in music education research.

Contents
This course aims to open a formative space which allows thinking about processes in infancy and early childhood music education, by connecting theory and practice through analysis and intervention in real classes with children from 4 months to 4 years old, identifying methodological principles. It also intends to introduce participants into the application of qualitative research and responsive evaluation.
CONTENTS BLOCK I
Music as educational mediation in childhood; sequencing of contents: from enculturation to comprehensive listening; methodological specific aspects in the work with early childhood.
CONTENTS BLOCK II
The teacher-researcher: consideration of practice as a process of improvement of educational quality. Information pick-up techniques: observation. Music experience as sociocultural activity

From July 4 to 8, in afternoon sessions (from 4 to 9 pm). On Friday July 8th, there will also be morning session (from 10 am to 2 pm), as well as it will take place a musical activity.

(for invoking special fees it is compulsory to provide the organisation of the courses with a document proving the condition of enrolled student during the course 2021-2022)
