A Concert with two B's
Beethoven and Bruckner. The former made his mark on the music of the entire century. The latter stood in his shadow to later approach him with his imposing symphonic legacy. This will be how the Castilla y León Symphony Orchestra, conducted by the great Petersburg-born maestro Vasily Petrenko, will offer a concert that in the first half of the program will count on another luxury guest, the great pianist Elisabeth Leonskaja, who will play Concerto No. 4 by Beethoven, written in G major and which, in recent years, continues to grow in reputation among performers to the extent of having gained more prestige than the famous Emperor. This time it will be the Fourth, also known as Romantic –possibly the most popular of all Bruckner's symphonies– written in 1874 and revised many times, as it was customary at the time, until 1888.
