At 23 years old, the Finnish Tarmo Peltokoski is the new great hit on the international podiums. And almost at the same age as his compatriot Klaus Mäkelä did a few years ago –and now well-established among the best conductors of the moment– Peltokoski is leading the City of Granada Orchestra for a totally classic program, consisting of two great works by the greatest Finnish composer of all time, Jean Sibelius: his symphonic tone poem Finlandia and his Fifth, the most popular of his seven symphonies, along with the Second. In between, we will count on another young man who is highly valued in auditoriums around the world, the Seville-born Juan Floristán, who will play one of the favourite concertos in the repertoire, the very romantic and passionate Second by Rachmaninov.
